With 5+ years background in the area of human computer interaction, Nan has spent most of his career in academia. He used to study and work in a few well-known European institutions, including RWTH Aachen and Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, and ETH Zurich and EPF Lausanne in Switzerland. He has over the years involved with research and development project in a variety of HCI subfields, such as interactive surface, augmented reality, speech interface, ambient information systems, mobile computing, search system, collaborative work and online learning, where he has developed comprehensive interdisciplinary skills.
Nan is highly experienced with both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. His career objectives include but are not limited to a career in user experience, innovative technologies, online learning and data analytics.
